I plan on adding information about the musicans and their songs bi-weekly. I will also post up some clips from retro television shows.
I will update you on a group called "Mindless Behavior" I believe they are just what this generations needs, clean, fresh, innocent feel good music. Their like the Jackson 5 reunited at age 14.
Once in a while I will add upcoming artists.
I also put sample astrological charts of Famous figures on this page so that you can see what an astrological chartconsist of , I do Natal Charts, which means "It's about you". I do Transit charts, which means, "What's happening now" and I do Extended Charts which go into a little more detail.
So I haven't blogged for awhile but I have made it my New Years resolution to do better.
I had a youtube astrology page that was doing really well but I removed it until further notice, but I do have a new and upcoming artist to show you and since this is a page about oldies this young musician is very appropriate for this page... So, Mindless Behavior finally debuted their album in stores on Sept 20th and I don't even have to tell you that is was a huge success! MIndless Behavior's very first album made it to BillBoard's top #7 and BillBoard 200's top 37 in the 1st week . These four handsome, talented young men have started another "boy band pandemic". The Beatles with Beatlemania/British invasion, Jackson Five Phenomena, Back Street Boys and Nsync's boy band mania and now "Mindlessmonium".
In the last year alone they have performed on 5 tours, Backstreet Boys "This is us tour, Janet Jackson's Number Ones, Up Close & Personal , Jason Derulo UK tour, Closer to my Dreams and now Headlining the Scream Tour. They are the hardest working kids in the entertainment industry today. Their names are everywhere, I was searching through my Xbox the other day, I didn't know if I wanted to listen to music or watch Netflix, so I navigated to the music section and what do think I saw? Mindless Behavior on the front of the Zune page. I've seen them on - On Demand "Get up and dance", Music Choice, MTV, these young men are really working hard and what makes it so great is that they enjoy the work that they do so you don't realize just how hard they are working. These focused young men are teaching other young kids how to have a "good work ethic". Its so great to see a band that the young kids can look up to and that has positive music that they can listen to.
Mindless Behavior - Prodigy(born Dec 26), Roc Royal (born July 23), Ray Ray(born January 6th) Prince(born April 21st) Each of the boys has their own standout personality, the handsome lead singer Prodigy, mirrors the young Michael Jackson. When Michael was young he would study the moves of the masters, like James Brown and Jackie Wilson. Prodigy studies Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, Usher: their onstage choreography, how they phrase a song, the way they work a crowd he actually is a "Prodigy". Roc Royal with his handsome boyish looks and his upbeat raps reminds you of the classic fun and innocent rap style of The Sugar Hill Gang. Ya boy Ray Ray, the skilled double-jointed dancer, the krumper, the playful one and the handsome one that all the girls like because of his signature long braids. Princeton, the handsome bookworm, making it cool to stay in school, study and be a nerd. Education will get you "Everywhere". When asked about their success Mindless Behavior simply said. "We just love doing this". Just like when the Jackson 5 were younger they were asked The reasons for their out-of-the-box success, it boiled down to one simple truth: their response "The singing and the songs make us happy."
Jackson 5-Jackson 5 - Jackie Jackson (vocals; born May 14, 1951), Jermaine Jackson (vocals; born December 11, 1954), Marlon Jackson (vocals; born March 12, 1957), Michael Jackson (vocals; born August 29, 1958), Tito Jackson (vocals; born October 15, 1953) The group formed in 1964, Michael Jackson was six years old, he had a natural gift for singing, dancing and entertaining. Jackie, Tito and Jermaine and Marlon, were not the lead singers but they each played a major role and without just one of them there would be no Jackson 5, one of the biggest boy bands "Ever". To this day The Jackson 5 are known in every age, genre and decade.
Below you can check out the rest of my TEENAGE BOY BANDS LIST. The blog would run on forever if I were to list and go into detail about all of the boy bands, but I can tell you that each of them had their own style and following. If you've noticed I really made this about boy bands that were actually young teenagers when they started. I believe there is a difference. Take for instance, the Temptations, I didn't add them to the list because they weren't teenagers, I believe their success came after they had graduated from high school and were in their twenty's, if I am mistaken, you can let me know. Boy bands have been around for ages, below, I have listed (Frankie Lymon and theTeenagers), he was 12 or 13 when they became famous and that was in the 1950's. I'm sure there were teenage boy bands before his era also and I will research that subject.
There really couldn't be a competition because they all were and are really great. I have listed names of the ones that I used to listen to a lot. Check them out! I think that the Generation Boy Band is making a comeback. Wow, I'm sitting here listening to this boy band "Mindless Behavior" and I had a flash back, I'm 8 years old, its 1975 and I'm standing in front of an 18in color tv "you know the kind with the antenna that reaches pretty high in the air. Well, you would know if you are in your late 30's or older". Anyway, I'm watching the "Jackson 5" variety show, singing their song "Going back to Indiana". I had such a good, warm, innocent, summertime, sunny day feeling. Thats the same feeling I get when I listen to these boys, they are new and refreshing and innocent with alot of energy and a uniformed style of dancing thats all in good taste. There not talking about violence, or sex or drugs or making money quick and they are not disrespecting young ladies.
They are singing about young love and first crushes and having a future and going to school and basically just being a kid not growing up too fast and certainly not following the crowd. I truly believe that they will be the next big thing in music. They are rapidly gaining fans. They have been in the business working hard for the last 2 almost 3 years. They get up, the workout, they do their school work and they practice their performance and they go to bed. That is the life of positive, focused person who knows what they want in life. Most adults don't even live by that schedule. Even if you aren't a fan of their music like I am, you have to love them as role models for young people everywhere. They are an inspiration, for children everywhere, children who don't know what to dream, children who limit their dreams or children who don't have dreams who settle for whatever is thrown their way. With GOD all things are possible and they are living proof.
Some of you have never heard ofMINDLESS BEHAVIOR, but this group didn't just pop up overnight. They performed at Pop-Con with Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, They were the opening act for the Backstreet Boys "This is us" tour and they have also performed at many charity functions and last but not least 'Creme of the Crop' BET awards after party at Mr. Chows.
The group consist of 4 boys age 12 to 14 Prodigy, Ray Ray, Princeton and Roc Royal. This group is an original and they have the "it" factor talent, fashion and creativity. Just Check them out, I think you will be pleasantly surprised... They are so sweet and when asked about their performing, discipline and the hard-work it took to get them there they simply say "I just love doing this!!!

In case you haven't heard, Mindless Behavior is the next big thing in music. Check out their websites and Diddy will tell you. They are currently touring with the Backstreet Boys. This amazing new boy band is gaining new fans with each show. 'Mindless Behavior' are not bound to just one type of music, with songs like "My girl, Ms Right, # 1 girl and my favorite Future", their style is pop and r&b but you just have to hear it for yourself. Mindless Behavior has also made a cameo appearance in Mishon's Video "Turn it up" featured on BET. (Mishon by the way is Taye for all of you Lincoln Heights fans). They also love giving to the community they have performed for "Race for the Cure and It's time kids organization (It's time kids.org teaches children about exercise, education and eating healthy)
Mindless Behavior is signed with Conjunction/Interscope/Streamline and the album will be dropping this summer 2010.
